Dr. Zhang worked as Senior Medical Doctor at Beijing Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the best Chinese Medicine Hospital in China, and nine other highly rated hospitals in the country. After he came to the United States, he served as a Senior Research Specialist at NIH Center for Botanical Dietary Supplement Research and the World Health Organization Collaborating Center for Traditional Medicine in Chicago.
Dr. Zhang has many publications, and he taught classes on botanical drugs and acupuncture at the Training Center of China State Pharmaceutical Administration and Beijing Herbal Medicine Acupuncture Institute.
Besides publishing many articles in first-class magazines in China, he also publishes a multimedia CD-ROM in Canada, which is named "Interactive Book of Acupuncture".

Dr. Zhang receive 11 years intensive training in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Modern Medical Science in Mainland China. He received training at the State medical university in his home town, with much experience working in a western medicine hospital with the leading physician in the capital.
Dr. Zhang's Consultation and practice is well-known and recognized by the Southeast Asian countries and throughout the world. He has also been invited to teach at Tel Aviv Medical Center in Israel and the Portugal Acupuncture Association.
